Our newest Senior Project Engineer, Jared Solich, has a passion for finding the often-hidden underlying issues within manufacturing environments in order to identify and solve the true core problem.
His experience in the power industry combined with his talent for bringing clarity during the execution of critical functions, greatly impact the productivity and profitability of the manufacturers we serve.
For Jared, that impact has an even deeper meaning:
“So many of us take the basic services we receive for granted – electricity, water, food, etc. But throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to meet the people driving those processes and to see how they work around the clock to make sure the needs of families and communities are met. I want to make sure those behind the scenes – those responsible for making society work – get the right solutions so that they can perform their responsibilities seamlessly and without frustration.”
Before joining EFI Group, Jared earned his reputation as an energy expert through a diverse set of roles and responsibilities for both Fortune 500 companies and privately owned power producers in the coal, natural gas, oil and nuclear power industries.
Throughout his career, he has provided exceptional leadership and technical mastery as an engineer, project manager, shift supervisor, maintenance manager, operations manager and engineering manager.
Jared’s own energy is fueled by his love for meeting new people and learning new things. In his early life he earned the prestigious designation of Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America and a commitment to personal and professional growth has always been part of his DNA. Most recently, he started learning guitar and he’s also in the process of earning his MBA.
If you haven’t guessed already, Jared’s dad is EFI Group Senior Project Manager and Partner, Jim Solich, who also has a deep passion for learning and problem solving. As Jared put it:
“My dad and I are close and over the years it’s been inspiring to hear how excited he is about his work. I can tell he really loves it and, clearly, I’ve found a really good fit at EFI Group.”
As for us, we couldn’t be happier to now have two Solich’s on board and we hope you’ll join us in welcoming Jared to the team.
